Pros

Easy to install. Far better than a mucho $$$ service call. Plenty of youtube video's to guide you through installation.

My oven/stove is a ge spectra. Look at your ignitor with a flashlight, it is in the center rear. Wire nuts are included in the package to deal with this issue.

Cons

The temperature ramp up for this igniter is slow. The result is an excessive accumulation of gas in the broiler area. When the gas ignites, there is a small * that extends beyond the drawer.

Happy with the product and was shipped in under 2 days!

Spliced the old positive wire with the new positive wire & it was an easy install.

Just take care with the ignitor which according to manufacturer is fragile.

But since the part came with 2 porcelain electrical nuts, i could cut and splice the new wires with the old ones.

Price

Definitely worth the cost vs buying a new oven.

I called the local repair shop and didn't appreciate the costs they were going to charge.
