I had those old round dehydrators from 20 plus years ago and decided it was time to upgrade because the items kept sticking to the trays and breaking off the plastic support

With the dial timer you are getting a close run time but not exact

I do mostly ground beef jerky due to a lack of anyone who hunts so no good venison and such readily available

Which historically meant doing all the work getting things on the trays dehydrating them then having to pull out cookie pans separate flavors into different pans and cook in the oven for an hour to kill anything that might be in the beef since of all four previous dehydrators i had including the last one that said it would go to 165 degrees it never did

My air purifier in the great room makes more noise and i cant even hear the dehydrator once im out of the kitchen

Every time i store these i store on their side since otherwise i cant fit them down in the bottom of one of my kitchen cabinets i have to fix them again
