I decided on the cantilever design because i liked the fact that upon opening it the various compartment levels automatically fan out rather than having to physically remove compartments to get to the ones below it

Again its not an issue for me since i dont have a lot of tools but for a contractor or anyone else with lots of tools especially with bulky handles they couldnt put a lot in this or it wouldnt shut completely

Make sure you buy something to line the inside of the tool box with so as not to scratch it up

The drawers do have some slop but this is mainly due to the stamp steel arms that hold the box together
