You will need the shade reducing rings but check your current shade if you have one as that may have one already but there certainly isnt any wiring needed as one clearly confused reviewer stated and the plastics are of excellent quality

Great value and easy to assemble

Good excellent product very elegant look better than in the picture really nice not sure what others on here struggling to assemble the shade are doing but its a doddle and sorted in about 20 minutes
