Pros

The velcro secures them so that they do not come off. Also, there are two velco fasteners, so they are more secure and it's harder for your dog to take them off. Put them on nice and snug.

Dog hates to have anything put on her feet but once they are on, she appreciates the benefits of wearing them. They aren't causing her as much irritation for her dew claws.

These things are perfect for our dog to avoid stepping on the salted walkways as we head to the park. Not often, but when we go in rough terrain or walk after the roads have been salted - my dog needs some foot protection.

The velcro straps keep the boots on your dog's feet. Even though my dog chewed a bit off, it still managed to stay on her paws. Misha also gets hot spots on his paws and these will prevent him from constantly * them.

Cons

The rating has more to do with the company honoring the quality of their product than, in general, the product itself. Overall the product is inferior quality materials. They seem very stiff and have too many folds of fabric overlapping each other.

The quality is literally like an actual sneaker and not a sock.

Putting these on his feet for the first time was an incredible entertainment value as he tried to walk without touching the ground.

Worked great however my stubborn dog crewed them of off her feet and $30 right down the toilet.

We have some ones that are all black, but these are more interesting and easier to get on vs the other brand we have.

I wasn't hopeful when searching for a dog boot or sock because the ones i've tried in the past would simply slip off.

Overall it's a pretty good product but shop around and there are many similar items on amazon that may be better.
