The velcro is attached nicely with a snap. There is a snap and velcro strap that helps secure the sock in place. I also like the fact that the velcro strap snaps on, so can be removed to launder the sock.
These are very cute christmas socks and they're thicker / cozier than any other grippy dog socks i have. I like that they are breathable compared to the thick dog shoes they sell at petsmart. These socks are adorable!
Cons
The grip with is not 1. The material is not strong enough. Better for less active dogs where there might be less friction. Though this is double sided gripped, there are spots on the bottom that still lose traction.
