Led light is helpful when reaching for something in a darkened corners. Comes with three lr44 button batteries that need to be installed at the base. The light and magnet are nice. This is so easy to reach down and with the light i can grab it.

New item works great. Hopefully it lasts longer this time. It is very handy.

The trigger to operate the claws works quite easily, gripping and releasing. This reaches most of my overhead cabinet areas that are hard to reach without a stepladder. From dimes, cigarette butts, and candy wrappers.

It is sturdy and i like how it has the magnetized hook. This is so superior to the flimsy reacher i was given in hospital.
