I couldnt get it to work on my laptop with windows 10 but that may be the laptop not windows 10 but on my older laptop with an older windows it works fine

Nothing to stop you buying it unless youre running games directly off it or watching a film then it might be a little loud

Which means read only memory so i may not be able to use it to write data as that would have been rw
