This is at odds with the documentation which states the output is 500ma which would be on the slow side for chargingcontrols are very logically laid out on the top with contrasting silver buttons making them stand out over the black casing

Whilst the product is clearly aimed for those who might have impaired hearing hence the louder alarm volume and shake feature it can work quite well for other users heavy sleepers and just as a normal alarm clock
