Easy to assemble. Only complaint is with the small sticky pieces at the bottom. Bottom of unit has nice pads and it comes with extra pads and extra adjustment screw just in case.
Stand has metal holder arm, & joint bracket. The stand is rugged metal with a nice finish, and the moving parts are rigid and sturdy.
I am a musician who is familiar with “stands. It is beautiful and functional (at this point i’d might be inclined to quip, “like my wife,” but i won’t).
