Pros

I wish the base color was a matte instead of a shimmer. Although this isn't matte, it is very nice, easy to apply. Powdery but still creamy at the same time.

It only takes a small amount. Applies so easily and smoothly, and lasts. With the instructional picture, it is easy to use.

Very satisfied with this shadow. Well worth the money. This kit is perfect.

Cons

There's no light or middle toned matte shade in this palette. The only matte shade is shade “4 liner,” which apparently is supposed to be for liner.

When dipping the brush in shade “5,” it’s so small that when i swipe to pick up product, any kickback will get swiped into shade ‘2’. I judge a shadow by how the product sticks to the brush while applying. It's crumbly and i end up looking like a racc... Read More

I actually followed the chart on the back of the package (no plastic case).

Laid out in package how should be applied to eyes.

Competitiveness

My eyes are hazel, almay is the only brand to suggest color of eyeshadow.

Of course, i do miss not a brush included but, it's not that big of deal.
