The issue is water will get into that connection and over time (a year), will rust out the handle, and it will detach and become useless.

This broom is all heavy plastic and screws into the handle, and they also pin the handle to the broom for extra holding power.

Price

Inexpensive and i bought two more to place around the house.

👍 the price was good too, i didn't wanna spend a fortune to break another broom in half.
