I read a lot of reviews telling you to not open your window because it will ruin the window they had to get parts completely replaced but the directions clearly tell you the window must remain up while these are in place which makes sense

They stick to the window easily and stay there until you want them to come off and they come off easily when you grab the edge

Good shade for babies but it is not suitable for kids who can reach it since it comes off with one grab
