Pros
Seems to fit snug and hopefully won't be popping off anytime soon. Snapped in with no problem. Feels like a good, tight fit with no slop.
Product was purchased for a 1999 ford expedition. Got it, installed it within the minute and am no longer bothered. Highly recommend the item.
Cons
Also the button area needs some material removed so the button freely moves.

Amazon's automatic fitment guide warned me it would not work but the product listing notes said it would.

Might as well shop at ebay they are cheaper and have free shipping on almost everything.
Competitiveness
This was a perfect fit for a 1999 f150 pickup.
I pay for prime and i'm not treated any better than a ebay customer.
I have a 1997 ford f-150 4x4 with automatic transmission shifter on the steering column.
Small piece, small price but major fix for a ford.

This caps inside where it connects to the shifter was not exactly the same as the one that came off and concerned me at first look

You let someone borrow your pickup and next thing you know they return it with no gas spilled juice in the back a flat tire and this cap missing from your gear shift
