Pros
Just by this one and save yourself time and aggravation. Works exactly as expected. Works as advertised. Just plug and play!
The adapter is very easy to use - simply plug it into the displayport on my desktop and then connect the hdmi cable from the adapter to my monitor. I use it with a mini media player i built five years ago, that only has one * and one hdmi port.
The cord is thick and durable. The female hdmi connector is shrouded in protective plastic. The adaptor feels durable also which is not always the case with cheaper adaptors.
Not expecting any issues anytime soon, hopefully never. No issues and no complaints. Very satisfied. Artifact.

In a later paragraph it says that it does not support vr.

This converter comes with a high-quality thick, nylon braided cable.
Been using this for a few days now with my ps5 and curved monitor.
For that, you would need a different type of convertor cable.

Just remember it only goes in one direction dp signal out to hdmi not hdmi signal in to dp

It is advertised to support 4k but i have not tried it at the higher resolutions

Unfortunately i made an error in my assessment of what i needed for my pcmonitor connection since i actually needed a displayport female connector to an hdmi male connector so as a result i had to return the cable

The female hdmi connector is shrouded in protective plastic before being placed in the metal casing

While the same is true for the male dp connector obviously the connector being a male needs to extend beyond the casing

From end to end this measures just about 11 but when the male pd plug is inserted the length will be just about 10
