The cord is thick and durable. The female hdmi connector is shrouded in protective plastic. The adaptor feels durable also which is not always the case with cheaper adaptors.

This adapter does not have the latch but the dp port it was plugged into for review was tight

Unfortunately i made an error in my assessment of what i needed for my pcmonitor connection since i actually needed a displayport female connector to an hdmi male connector so as a result i had to return the cable

Keep in mind this will only work if the source is displayport
