It's ideal to set freq pass to the lowest setting. Control knob mechanism is smooth and progressive. There seems to be a low humming noice sometimes.

Power adapter: i'd be happy to pay extra few bucks for an manufactures own adapter.
For the money great bit of kit,

This is just a circuit board with a minimal cover

There is no instructions but the cover has symbols which are clear and show you where things should plug in

Whilst i managed i had to find a power supply and connected it to my speaakers all okay but as its so bare i did fel very unsure of the product

I am not great with tech and hooking things up so i would recommend based on my limited experience and the fact it worked okay but would also recommend reading other reviews for a more detailed summary
