It also goes on without any bubbling like some other fillers such as elmers

But dont think because it says its white and that you dont have to paint over filled nail holes on white woodwork

Its actually a light tan and for best results to match sheen of alkyd trim paint you need to apply 2 coats of paint over it

Turns out a 316 gouge must be done in 2 successive coats

I smear this in the damaged areas and then press a wood grained stencil on it to closely match my siding

There is a little pull up of the wood filler if i dont wait long enough but some sanding takes care of that
