Pros

I find the fantom drives to be highly reliable, sleek in design, and priced very fairly. Great reliability rates a repeat purchase.

The external hd is active & makes some noise during operation. I sometimes turn it off at night but when i power back on next morning i have to restart the receiver for it to pick up the drive again.

Cons

Fantom datum drives fail almost immediately more often than they work. On windows 10, it repeatedly connects and then disconnects. Don't bother with this device.

Fantom is probably buying up lots of refurb drives, pennies on the dollar, slapping them in a fancy aluminum enclosure, and selling them as 'new' very expensive paperweight now. I'm actually amazed how they get away with selling these garbage drives.
