Pros

Bought this for around 78 usd and could not be happier. The appearance of this drive on my desk just looks like it belongs. That squashes a lot of bad reviews.

Super easy to setup with the console. Communication between console and the drive is instant, theres no lag. Moving 90gb takes around 15min. The second screenshot (8682 mb/s) shows it's performance with 12gb of dram.

Cons

Drive frequently disconnects. Tons of i/o errors and dreaded semaphore timeouts. Lost almost 4 tbs of data.

The head seek mechanism thrashes and vibrates the desktop. Swapped out different usb cables, same result. I suspect that an electrolytic filter capacitor has failed short (installed backwards, maybe?

Fortunately, after ejecting the device. Dead on arrival.

This drive is hot garbage. What a waste of money. Piece of junk. Do not recommend.

This is a first time purchase of a fantom drive and i'm sorely disappointed. Sidenote:never trust amazon's search engine. Not happy about this product. Returning it today and will stick with a more reliable brand.

For the money it’s not bad but it takes a while to download and upload ps games.

Started the xbox normally, got a message about the new drive with option to format, and followed the prompts.

However, i contacted the seller and they mailed it to my house very quick.

Packaging/appearance

Came in great packing and all wires and accessories where included.

It's neatly packaged and very surprisingly fasst.

Competitiveness

I tested it and compared it to all my other ssd's and hard drives using crystaldiskmark 8.

But it makes alot of noise compared to my seagate.
