Pros

The lightweight and slim profile of the drive makes it easy to add to my laptop case. Connected to my macbook pro 2016 and using for ios devices and time machine backups. Very happy with this nice, zippy little ssd drive.

Cons

It continually loses and restarts its connection. Sometimes has to be reformatted, other times just corrupt data. Works for a couple of weeks then all content vanishes.

All in all this is a great portable hard drive, it’s rugged, it looks good, it’s small, and it has a fast (10gb/s) connection.

What’s immediately apparent is the drive’s low quality and finish.

The bright blue led, which shows data transfer activity actually bleeds through the plastic instead of just the opening.

Price

For the 500 gb drive provided, at the current price, i’d rate it 5-stars.

I wouldn’t mind if they also happened to be the least expensive in its class but it’s not.

No problem, i had a second cell phone with a rival network, which worked just fine the entire day.

Just about everything about it is better than the old hfs+.

It costs more than for example, the samsung t5 which is smaller, better looking, and just as fast.
