This poacher is easy to set up and use. It does a great job of poaching eggs on my cooktop. This makes the most perfect poached eggs with ease!

It has 4 acrylic plastic egg cups which are actually easier to clean then the metal ones. I wish the cups were a bit wider and shallower, since these make thick rings of eggs.

The pan is sturdy and so are the egg cups. Even though the pan would get super hot, i don't think it will melt.

The quality of the underlying frying pan is great as well. Farberware is a trusted name on pots & pans.

Cons

Buy a poacher with metal teflon cups. Takes too long to scrub the cups and takes the joy out of poached eggs.

The plastic cups in this pan do not get as hot as metal, so eggs that previously needed just 3-1/2 minute, now need a full 6 minutes just to get the * cooked! Too cumbersome. Don’t recommend wasting money on this product.

For the money its great, you must use spray oil on the cups so the eggs come out in one piece.
