Pros & Cons
Pros
Overall, this tool is great and it's reasonably priced. I'ld like to purchase two more. Don't forget to use the smile.
It's fairly heavy, but it's got a weighted handle, along with a flat bottom, so the handle keeps the head from touching the counter. The head is heavy-duty and heat-resistant plastic. The spatula is dishwasher safe which is always a good thing.
Easy to control small turner for cooks and home chefs alike. Perfect stiffness for flipping pancakes, eggs or anything else. Thin enough to be an efficient turner.
A large easy grip handle is almost overkill. The handle is unbelievably comfortable and long enough to keep all parts of the hand from the flames. I like the size of the 'paddle' and the handle is comfortable enough.
If you scrape up a burger, and put a paper towel under you can let it sit at an angle and drain the grease before puttin it in a bun. My husband (who mans the sandwich grill) loves it for flipping sandwiches and carrying them to the platter.
Cons
Please do not be fooled. It is described as being 13. The spatula is not dishwasher safe.
Highlights
Quality
Highly recommend under normal use in kitchen, heat resistance good, strudy & easy to clean.
Perfect size to do almost anything and sturdy.
Plastic so it doesn't hurt non-stick, and despite what is said those ceramic ones scratch and wear too, so using metal is a bad idea.
Mine came with one small flaw, a small loose piece of plastic on the top of the head.
