Pros & Cons
Pros
When frying heavy scented foods like onions, it does a good job of containing the smoke, smell and any popping oils. It is charcoal infused, so it cuts down on smell as well as grease splatters.
You need a good brush and a spray nozzle, and it will still be work. This thing makes cleanup a breeze. My only issue is im not sure how to clean it, a sponge would probably put more germs into it.
The screen is lightweight and dishwasher safe. Cleaning is no problem as the screen rinses well.
Big enough to cover my large frying pan and so far i love it. Works great on top of my cast iron pan and eliminates spatters from bacon, burgers and anything greasy. Can be used to drain pasta water, or draining fat from your pan.
Cons
Started to shred after a couple months of use. Handle is very flimsy. I think i'll stick to cleaning grease off the stove because that's much easier.
Highlights
Quality
It does a good job absorbing the smoke and odors from my food, and can be tossed in the dishwasher after cooking.
This splatter screen is well designed because it doesn't allow moisture to build up under it which will cause more splatter.
These are bpa free, and they do not melt.
Doesn’t hold up well over time, but worth replacing when needed.
