Pros

The farberware name has been licensed by the meyer corporation. This pot holds more than my cuisinart stock pot but it weighs less. They're cheaper to make than stainless steel lids.

Great size, cleans beautifully, good quality, washes well. I like the lid and how it fits without gapping.

The bottom is heavier than the sides and distributes the heat pretty good. It also makes the pot easier to tote to somewhere like a pot luck supper. The handles are comfy; the knob on the lid stays cool to the touch.

Cons

This version feels cheap and poorly thought out. I sincerely hope they pull this item and not endanger it's customers. I am sure that there was a heavy pressure on top of the pot that cause the edge to blend.

And we've had pots that were very $$$.
