Pros

Nice quality. Packaged well, arrived on time. They are sturdy and well made. It’s even nicer than our 40+ year old one.

The bottom is just stainless but distributes the heat well. It is heavy and the lid fits very well. This is a good skillet and i would recommend it.

The larger size (12 inch) with the helper handle works great. It is large enough to take on rice or bulgar wheat, or other starch as well. My only complaint is that the handle has already come off and we haven't figured out to reapply it.

Cons

Cover was received dented in by the knob. The handle comes loose and when you go to tighten it the screw just spins and spins because the nut inside is free. I have a feeling this is a counterfeit product.

Farberware's own website is so obstructive, and impossible to use that it can only be a deliberate attempt to disavow product warranties. Avoid farberware like the plague! The pan does not.

This is the kind of quality you leave to your kids and then appreciate it.

I looked long and hard for new pots and pans… when it happened that i went with the old but good style.
