Pros & Cons
Pros
Lid has small holes on each side, one a little bigger so no need for strainer. The pouring spout works great. Many of my other stainless steel kitchen wares often require barkeeper's cleaner for discoloration.
Farberware is known for waterless cooking due to its tightly sealing lids. The pot heats quicly and evenly and is very easy to clean. The only problem i have is the lid does not sit as tightly as it did on the last pot.
Cons
The bottom is heavy but the sides are very thin not sure these will last. I am pretty sure it will dent around the side with just everyday use. Food tends to burn quicker on this.
Very disappointing to say the least. Would not buy this product again. It is not safe. That's why it's cheap. Very disappointed and surprised.
These are not surface stains that are cleanable or i wouldn't be writing this review. These are discoloration stains. Does not scorch. But its handle is completely inadequate.

The lid has holes in the sides to release steam or easy to pour out liquid.
Price
Definitely worth what my husband paid for it!
This saucepan is affordable and has held up incredibly well.
I can't remove the broken handle and thought maybe the store employees would help me and i then buy their handles ($7).
It was worth every penny (which i didn't feel was unreasonable actually).
Competitiveness
So, it's back to stainless for me and at $28, i couldn't ask for a better pan.
It matches my other pans from decades ago although it's a different brand.
I found a local hardware store sells replacement handles, but dont match.
