Im sure like everyone else youve tried to get away from teflon because of all the negative news about it being toxic and leaking into your food

This set is a hair below teflon when it comes to the non stick surface but its negligible and i just use a tad bit more oil and hardly notice the difference

It is oven safe but only to 350f so just be mindful because not sure what would happen past that

Their not too heavy and yet they work on an induction stove top they also work on other kinds of stove tops too

Not sure if the hex pattern brings anything to the party but they are nonstick
