The entire strainer is small enough to fit in the dishwasher without occupying too much space. I just popped it into my dishwasher on the top rack and it came out wonderfully.
Fine mesh allows for rinsing anything super small. Great all purpose kitchen sifter.
Very fine mesh. Pricey but durable, sturdy. Only complaint – i almost wish the wires were finer.
