Pros & Cons

Pros

Well made forged irons. Perfectly rigid yet not too big.

Used to change a tire and tube on a 21” chrome laced motorcycle wheel. Heavy enough for helping with auto tire changes and large motorcycle tires (goldwing gl1500). Used to replace 12’ trailer tires. Used it for my lawn tractor tires.

I recommend this tool to those who are mechanically inclined. Holding two while inserting 3rd to pry can be tricky.

Worked great for the cost. Still worked well despite these flaws. Already mounted 3 new tires, worked perfectly. Worked as intended.

If used on truck-tires, a not-too-long piece of pipe could be used to extend these for more leverage. The extra length gives great leverage!

Cons

Tools are too short to remove an atv's tire from the rim. The plating on one of the irons was damaged upon arrival.

Quality

These tire irons are strong and seem to be quality.

Good quality tire irons, worked great on dismounting and mounting offroad tires.

Didn't bend at all with my full force put on them, they are pretty thick steel and heavy but they need to be.

If you have more than 4 tires to swap out from rims, it might be worth buying a tool that does the whole job, and forget about ...  Read More

Price

There are several devices avaliable for doing this -- including one sold by harbor freight for about $40.

Due to supply chain problems, harbor freight stores in my area were out of stock (and they would have cost only $5 each!

5" tire irons (set of 3) appeared to be a bargain -- even though they were not as long as i wanted.

Shipping

I got them quick and work great.

Competitiveness

I tried the other ones that have the padded screwdriver handle.

There are a few more items on amazon that also separate the tires/rims (but more expensive).
