Since they are indoor cats, it provides some exercise, and interactive play with them. That gives my cat the fun of running and capturing the fish. Our cat loves chasing this from one side of the room to the other.

Good buy. For the price, it seems to do the job! It's pricey, but i'm considering buying another! Highly recommend. I work a part time job, so cheap things are my go to.
