Works with nwtel arris dcx3635-w pvr to expand capacity. Je l'utilise pour avoir plus de mémoire sur ma playstation 4‚ je suis très satisfait de ce produit.
Cons
Le système shaw se se reboot. Just failed on us. Very noisy unit.

With the french open tennis matches on right now, i can record the 9 hour broadcasts in high def for later viewing.
We have been using the product continuously for about 2 months.
Packaging/appearance
I do not blame canada post, but very poor packaging by amazon !
While the hard drive is working perfectly and installation was simple on my shawdirect pvr; the packaging was extremely poor.
I was fortunate that everything did not come tumbling out of the package during processing by canada post.
Competitiveness
Works great for pvr in case you don't want to buy drives with inflated prices through your cable company.

I needed esata connector which i assumed was included so i had to order separately and wait for it to arrive before i could set up the unit

When received one end of manufacturers package was held closed by one piece of tape on one side

Nice little unit but the on light is too bright
