Pros
It does a decent job making the water hot. Boils water in 20 minutes, no problem with cable. It heats up the water for my breakfast and dinner since i didn't make a fire.
Cons
Draws way too much amperage through a 12v cig plug and through under-gauged wires. No on/off switch, once plugged in it just goes until it automatically shuts off due to temperature. Item was plugged in and never heated up.

Maybe a switch would be handy but as long as you remember to unplug it every time it gets hot then there should be no issues
