What a scam. Who replaces just one head gasket when rebuilding a motor? Going by price and the unclear display of this part and the fact that the engine has 2 heads i was led tobelieve that i was buying 2 gaskets and only got one.

Upgrade over factory, felpro quality, good price point
Don't be like me and try to use a knock off product.
Packaging/appearance
Everything i read about using the felpro multi-layered steel gaskets has so far proven to be on the money.
5l sohc, although the packaging says 1998-2009.
Competitiveness
These fel-pro perma toque multi layered ones should easily out do the subaru single layer ones.
I used fel-pro gaskets all the time and i never had a complaint.
And a finish no less than 50 ra (rough average).

I have rebuilt a handful of subaru ej25s and the oem composite gaskets are junk they just dont last

As soon as the head was off and we checked out the gasket we knew right then it was the old one that failed and thankfully the cylinder head was not warped
