It feels very substantial and it is powerful. I pour it into the teeth of my shredder, just as the manufacturer of the shredder recommends. It keeps the teeth from getting blunt too quickly.

Just run the shredder in reverse and pour some oil in then shred a document

Top tip never use wd40 or any other aerosol on your shredder as the aerosol is flammable

I decided as it was several years old it probably wasnt worth the expense of trying to get it repaired so i bought a new one

In the details of the one i decided to buy it stated that it should be regularly oiled with this special non mineral oil
