I didnt use the straps that attach to the mouse and the rubber piece that covers the end of the mouse got in the way of my palm so i pulled that off also

The mousepad is simply just a mousepad

I don’t attach this to the mouse per the instructions i prefer to have it free float so i can adjust my hand as needed for my comfort

I use my extra large cloth mouse mat and it slides smoothly with my mouse
