Pros & Cons
Pros
The bar across the front helps to keep the computer from slipping off the front. The pillow also absorbs the legs of the stand, so they don't press down on my lap and legs. The plastic body doesn't bother my wrist while typing.
The stand is adjustable and works just as well as the more expensive units. Adjustable tilt angle, study, and fits my 16 inch (41 cm) wide laptop perfectly. This product give me the right elevation.
They are durable and have held up well to daily use. The slots keep the bottom of the laptops from overheating. It is a little more frail than i expected, but it's been holding up fine so far.
Cons
The riser is very flimsy. Parts of it almost seem disposable.
It does work for elevating your laptop, it's just cheap construction and poor design. This does hold a 17 inch toshiba; however, it only holds it on its lowest setting.
Highlights
Quality
This is the second one we purchased for our business and it is well made and easy to adjust.
They are sturdy and the slots keep the bottom of the laptops from overheating.
It is not portable, a feature i wanted to have to take to the library or coffee shop.
I thought my cat might knock this right over, but when the computer is on it, it doesn't move.
Price
Great item at at a great price.
I found this product and it is a great product for the price.
00 and i felt that was way beyond what i wanted to spend.
The one i really liked was $60.
Packaging/appearance
I had planned on returning it but my husband had tore up the packaging.
Competitiveness
I have another laptop riser purased from big brand store, this is twice as nice.
This is a great alternative to save $ for laptop users who think they need a seperate monitor, docking station, etc.
Over-all it works more than other brands we have tested.

The only thing that i would warn people against is that if you have a really heavy 1734 notebook you might not want to get this because the piece that holds your laptop up is made of plastic and feels a bit flimsy

Laptops get too hot to put on the lap for an extended period of time and the other computer laptop devices dont really have the rise pitch to make it comfortable to access the keyboard without either wrist discomfort or just not being able to see the keys while in the lazyboy chair reclining position
