The feeling is squishy (memory foam) but supportive. This lumbar support is superior to the ones that i've used in the past. I have a herniated disc in my lower spine and this helps tremendously.

Strap is designed to fit between the shoulder blades and lumbar. You can adjust where you want to position it and it stays put. The only problem is that i barely got to to strap around the chair.

This one seems like a cheap knock off. It is very poorly made.

The apparatus keeps sliding down the chair no matter how tight it is fastened. It hasn't really improved my posture or the discomfort in my back. The side strapped are 3 inches to short to go around 18 inch wide chair.
