Pros & Cons
Pros
Great gasket, and only thing comparable to the double o-ring style gasket gm uses. Matched the oem rubber gasket with copper support thru it and at bolt holes. Felpro is typically a brand i instantly think of as quality, which is exactly what it was.
Fit perfectly to my 2014 suburban lt 4x4 1500. Perfect fit for my silverado. Yukon 2008 muy bueno excelente lo recomiendo. My truck is an 08 silverado.
Cons
Wrong gasket for my differential. Luckily the original is reuseable!
Highlights
Quality
Top quality gasket, made and engineered well !
I was skeptical because it was a little thick but the double wall rubber sides soon showed me to trust it, no rtv and no leak, awesome.
No gasket seal, gasket makes, none of that blue or red stuff, just this gasket and the cover plate torqued to the right specs.
Factory manual recommends use of new bolts and loctite, neither of which i did because i was unprepared.
Price
Did the job myself, saved a good amount of money and know that the job was done right.
$39 in oil, $29 for the gasket, and three hours in my garage.
Just spend the extra few bucks for a good piece of mind.
Shipping
Fast shipping and product was as described.
Competitiveness
Looks to equal to or better than oem.
