Pros
Kids can play with them while in class and not bother their classmates. Makes it less distracting to other students. They are strong and my most destructive student still hasn't managed to destroy it.
Many of them need an outlet for fidgeting. It is quiet and not a distraction in the classroom.
Cons
Not worth the money or the hassle. Very disappointing. The rest of the class still has theirs, but doesn't play with it much.

A great inexpensive, but a highly engaging gift!
I got 4 purples and not a single teal one, the price is fine but a star is just knocked out because there is only 9 colors.

A kid can work hard and muscle through getting it open if they tried so if you are worried about some students having access to the marble inside you may want to consider that but your average student who is not trying to be destructive will do just fine with it
