Once trained you can just beep the collar without shocking and the dog will get the message

She gets in to whatever she is tracking or sniffing and just does not come back

Prong collars are not very helpful when your dog takes off on you out of the car after a rabbit or unless you have them on the other end of the leash

I had her sportdog collar on but wasnt prepared for the malicious intent and i could have called her away had i known the other dog wasnt friendly
