If you are going to use this as a desk clamped stand i would have no reserves about picking this unit for that job.

This condensor mic holder/stand is worthy of the price point.
I have one that was cheaper that works just fine so i wouldnt really wanna spend the money on this one

However it was extremely difficult to move it out of the original position it took a lot of might and fear that i cracked my desk because it did not want to move i hated how much effort it took and how much effort it still takes even after working it ma couple times
