Additionally you dont actually need to turn the volume up very high on the mic itself or itll start distorting the sound and itll sound like an earrape

I bought this microphone to record myself playing tuba for my band after having issues with recording through a speakerphone

I was able to eliminate it to my mostly untrained ear by increasing the volume on the microphone to maximum and decreasing the recording volume suggesting that the hiss is introduced after the onboard preamp

Not much to say other than it picks up everything in the room a noise cancellation software can fix that

My only downsides to it are the permanent cable which means if the connection breaks then i would have to buy a new microphone

The levels do need to be carefully set to prevent overloading of the software as the microphone is very sensitive
