Overall audio quality is outstanding. I am regularly presenting online (teams, zoom etc) so wanted a decent mic.
The k688 is a dynamic cardioid microphone, which means it's more directional. It has both a usb and xlr connection, so if you don't have an audio interface you an just plug it into your pc, however the mute button only works via usb.

Quality
The sound quality pickup and response really surprised me.
There is a clear difference in quality, sound and plosives!
Touching the body or moving the cable will result in very audible noise, probably the worst handling noise of any mic i've ever tried.
The clarity and richness of the audio captured with the fifine k688 are unmatched.
Price
This is an exceptional microphone for the price.
The value is also great as it offers both an xlr and usb-c connection.
I get that and for the price this is an incredible mic but i wish people on the reviews where more honest!
For the price this is a very nice mic!

But once i recorded my voice in an unorganized room it gave the least hissing noise with the least background noise

Only issue is that it is too light for my boom arm so likes to ping back up sometimes just gonna get a different mic arm

Its a solid mic although the quality could be better at the end of the day its not very expensive

On its own it doesnt have any echo or reverb built in so is only good on its own for talking
