Installed a new system last year and the coils still look brand new while the filters are covered with debris.
The quality of construction is lacking but nothing a little tape can't fix.
My only problem is we have a downward facing receiver and the filter is too heavy for the suction to pull it tight enough for a good seal.

Like i definitely notice increased airflow with using a 20x20x5 filter over a 20x20x1 filter
