Pros
Great value and convenient. Great at removing dust, allergens, and more. Build quality also seems decent.
Filters have a high merv to help rid air of pathogens. Less expensive than at home depot for an american made filter. Important to filter our air right now during the pandemic.
Cons
Based on airflow and the texture of the filter material, these are clearly not merv 13. These filtration ratings are not legitimate. It has way less than half the pleats of the 3m filter, and it feels much less durable.

I was looking for a filter to filter out dust when the santa ana winds come up off the desert in california but a recent fire brought us within one mile of the evacuation lines the smoke was intolerable and we were ready to leave our house but i remembered the filter claims for this filter and so set the hvac to recirculate the air thru the filter
