Magnets hold the keyboard to the inside of the case and the ipad can then be propped up against the keyboard as shown in the photo

The keys respond very well and are spaced pretty small but if youre used to the apple bluetooth keyboard this should be pretty much the same experience

Another great feature that differentiates this case with other cases is that the keyboard is not attached to the case
