No delay at all when typing keys are spread apart enough that an averagesize hand shouldnt have a problem typing proficiently

It functions just like an apple branded case in that you dont have to physically lock the screen instead you can just close the case onto the screen and itll lock for you automatically

Then when you open the case again the screen automatically illuminates and is unlocked and ready to go

The down fall is it does not have a mouse option to move around the keyboard so you have to go back to the touch screen to move things or do certain things while you are typing

It also states it comes with a power cord for the keyboard and it did not

They did not send me one either upon request
