Its protective enough the edges along the inside part of the ipad does not protrude out enough for it to be super protective if that makes any sense so if anything thats where this case may fall short

If you do get this case remember that you are cheapening out so you do get what you pay for in regards to the protectiveness of the case and you really cant expect much
