Pros

I love that it glows, comes in handy for late night tv. The bright color is a huge assistance in finding it in dim to dark conditions. Where the older remote which has been dropped once too many times gets the dark blue case.

I’m glad i purchased both because i renton had to purchase a new shield remote. I read this in other reviews and it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

It fits the nvidia shield remote flawlessly. Fits perfect. Easy to put on.

Extra lip makes it less likely to hit the netflix button when blindly reaching for remote on a coffee table. Makes it safer in case it drops to hard flooring. Makes the remote less slippery, nice grip and glows.

Cons

Even after stetting under a very bright light for hours, it hardly glows at all and only for a very short time. Only got the glow working by setting on window sill. The navigation * are inconvenient to use. These are too slick and slide out of my hand... Read More

Stopped the battery cover from popping off every time i dropped it.

I’m glad i purchased both because i renton had to purchase a new shield remote which is on sale for about $28 or $29 on amazon.
